As a part of the WISHRM State Conference SMILE Team, I have the opportunity to engage with speakers and exhibitors, gaining insights into what to anticipate at the upcoming conference. Today I spoke with one of the WISHRM25 Vendors, Josh Bergman, about Gallagher.

2. Can you provide a brief summary about Gallagher for anyone not familiar?

3. Beyond traditional insurance brokerage, what additional services does Gallagher provide to support HR departments?

   
   

   For HR team, Gallagher’s support runs strong beyond the traditional insurance brokerage services. As an example, we have built out an entire team of specialists to offer consulting HR specialists/generalists/managers if capacity becomes an issue for your team.    I’ll say it every year because it is true.  The existing friendships and new friendships to be made.  The group attending WISHRM are full of bright minds and fun personalities.

5. Is there a trending innovative solution you’re seeing HR professionals adding to their benefit packages for 2026?

   
   

   There is a great amount of activity heading into 2026 for employee benefits plans.  Though the innovative solutions are specific to company details and demographics, the demand for creativity has never been higher.  Groups are adding or switching to self-funded plans, ICHRAs, LSAs, further incorporating direct primary care, value-driven steerage for care, among others.  Each company is unique and has its own set of opportunities.  We’re happy to discuss what’s best for you!
